Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Click IT website and your engagement of Click IT services. By using this website or engaging our services you agree to these terms. Specific engagements may be subject to additional signed agreements, which take precedence where they differ.
2. Information on this website
Content on this website is provided in good faith for general information and does not constitute professional, legal or technical advice for your specific situation. We work to keep information accurate and current, but make no warranties about completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
3. No guarantees of results
We are transparent about what we can and cannot do. We do not guarantee specific outcomes - including data recovery success, security protection against all threats, software availability, or business results - unless expressly agreed in writing for a specific engagement. Statements on this site about capabilities are not guarantees of results.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, graphics, logos, design and code) is owned by or licensed to Click IT and protected by copyright and trade mark laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission. Software and related IP we build for clients is owned by the client under the terms of the relevant engagement agreement.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your accounts and credentials, and not misuse this website - including attempting to disrupt, hack, scrape or introduce malicious code into it. You are responsible for obtaining any rights needed for content you provide to us.
6. Enquiries and communications
Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship or obligation on either party. We may contact you using the details you provide to respond to your enquiry.
7. Service delivery
Specific terms for repair, managed IT, software, data, AI and security services are set out in quotes and engagement documents. Those documents govern pricing, timelines, warranties, liability and termination for the relevant work. Nothing in these website terms overrides them.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Click IT's total liability arising from your use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in connection with the relevant matter. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits or data loss, except where liability cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot be excluded.
9. Third-party links
This website may link to third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Contact
